Spice up your tuna

Lauren asked the other day on Lindy Olsen’s forum

Does anyone have any ideas how I can “spice up” my tuna in springwater snack? Needs to be clean and no carbs

As the resident food geek, here’s a few of the flavour combinations I came up with:

  • Thai: fish sauce, chili, garlic, lime, coriander / Ayam lite sweet chili sauce
  • Italian: basil, oregano, garlic
  • Spanish: red onion, smoked paprika, parsley, lemon juice
  • Mexican: cumin, garlic, lime, coriander, chili
  • American: pickles and fat free mayo
  • Japanese: wasabi, soy and ginger
  • Indian: Garam Masala and black mustard seeds
  • British-indian: Keens curry powder
  • Chinese: soy, Splenda and garlic
  • English: grainy mustard and parsley

Do you have a favourite way to spice up your tuna?
