Lauren asked the other day on Lindy Olsen’s forum
Does anyone have any ideas how I can “spice up” my tuna in springwater snack? Needs to be clean and no carbs
As the resident food geek, here’s a few of the flavour combinations I came up with:
- Thai: fish sauce, chili, garlic, lime, coriander / Ayam lite sweet chili sauce
- Italian: basil, oregano, garlic
- Spanish: red onion, smoked paprika, parsley, lemon juice
- Mexican: cumin, garlic, lime, coriander, chili
- American: pickles and fat free mayo
- Japanese: wasabi, soy and ginger
- Indian: Garam Masala and black mustard seeds
- British-indian: Keens curry powder
- Chinese: soy, Splenda and garlic
- English: grainy mustard and parsley
Do you have a favourite way to spice up your tuna?
