Friday Favourites: Wax a green wombat by the rising sun

A quick post today of some of the things that have brought me pleasure this week:

  1. miso+garlic in stir fries- expect a recipe soon!
  2. Nads Brazilian wax- I haven’t tried it for ‘down there’ but it did a great job on my eyebrows. I much prefer this style of wax to the soft stuff.
  3. Reading books on Kindle- it’s the high-tech-low-tech. Great size, just enough features.
  4. The Wombats new album “The Wombat proudly present… This Modern Glitch“- Beautifully poppy and just a bit sarcastic, it’s been on high rotation in my car for over a month.
  5. McCain’s Premium Baby Green Beans- They actually taste like real green beans and don’t go soggy. Perfect for ‘vegetable emergencies’.

She has just completed her first recipe book, Healthy Helpings: fast food for fit physiques. She began sharing her love of food in 2007, when she produced two series of the online cooking show ‘Healthy Helpings TV’, making fast food healthy and healthy food fast. In 2008 she competed in bodybuilding as a novice figure shaping competitor and she remains passionate about physique sports.
