Well I've jumped on the paleo bandwagon and I'm loving it! Of course of we were really 'paleo' we wouldn't be on the computer now would we?

I'm read SO much about 'paleo' and insulin levels etc, and being one who thrives on a low carb diet, it's been great. Reason being, it's getting me to eat more veges! It's also helping my fibromyalgia symptoms.

I tend to sway more towards the more 'leniant' paleo websites as I'm not giving up dairy (NO WAY!).

I think it's only a 'fad' diet if you just use it to lose weight or for a short term fix. 'paleo style' of eating just sit's really well with me and it's the first time I've looked at a plan and thought, "yeah I can stick to this long term".

PS had your creamy cauli soup for lunch today mmmmmm

Gosh, common sense applied to diets? That'll never catch on, Michelle. ;)

I'm in the middle of a few days of what I like to call "semi-Paleo" at the moment. Yoghurt features regularly, and the occasional bit of ricotta or quark is fine too. I do minimise grains and starches, but today I was hungry after a big weights session, so had oats for breakfast. And not a bacon rasher in sight.

Meh. Rules. They're for breaking.

My ice cream maker is in the freezer for the first time in at least five years. You've inspired me to get creative tomorrow!

And I'm definitely trying out the ice cream recipes from your book before the holidays are over.
